Dee H. Stasnopolis is a Partner in the Bakersfield office of Borton Petrini, LLP. Dee received his Bachelor Science in Real Estate Finance from Arizona State University in 1980 with minors in economics and political science. He graduated from Southwestern School of Law in 1982. In addition to his admittance to the State Bar of California, he is admitted to practice before The U.S. Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and all Federal District Courts for the State of California.

Prior to joining Borton Petrini, LLP, Dee was a partner with Mercer and Zinder in Los Angeles and gained extensive experience in several areas, including all forms of casualty and product liability, and legal and medical malpractice.

Dee’s areas of specialty at Borton Petrini, LLP involve business and commercial litigation, healthcare and employment law. Along with his specialty areas, Dee also has handled a wide variety of other types of cases. He is experienced in realtor errors and omissions. His professional experience enhances his ability to practice in those fields as he has worked as a licensed real estate agent and also functioned as a commercial property manager.

Dee finds that membership in professional organizations keeps him abreast of the constant changes in the legal world. He is a member of the Kern County Bar Association, as well as the State Bar of California. His professional involvement has also included instructing insurance companies on settlement tactics, conducted legal-liability assessments for companies conducting seminars on employment law for businesses, and has served as an arbitrator for the Los Angeles and Kern County Superior Courts. He sits on the Labor and Employment Law Committee of the Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Bakersfield Employers Advisory Council, the Society For Human Resource Management, and was previously a member of the DRI Section on Employment Law. Dee is currently a member of the Labor & Employment Law section of the State Bar of California.
