Garrett T. Rice is an Associate Attorney in the Bakersfield office of Borton Petrini, LLP. Garrett graduated with Honors from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2007. He received his Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School in 2011 and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

During law school, Garrett was a teaching assistant, competed in trial advocacy competitions and was a member of Law Review. While he was a law student, Garrett worked as a clerk at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, where he participated in a multitude of cases ranging from DUI’s to high profile homicides.

Garrett’s legal practice focuses on construction defect, civil litigation, personal injury defense, and insurance defense. As a Bakersfield native, he looks forward to serving the local community and its diverse needs.

Garrett is an avid cook. He also enjoys running, biking and spending time with his wife, Alicia, and their two dogs.
