Andrew M. ManciniSenior AssociateLos Angeles Office Andrew Mancini is a Senior Associate in the Los Angeles office of Borton Petrini, LLP. He received his undergraduate degree from California State University Los Angeles, majoring in English, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law. His law school accomplishments and honors include American Jurisprudence Awards in Torts, Contracts, Property, and Constitutional Law, Dean’s List for Academic Excellence, and Associate Editor and member of the Law Review. Andrew is an experienced trial attorney specializing in complex, high exposure litigation involving catastrophic losses, including personal injury and property damage. He has defended numerous construction site personal injury cases of serious bodily injury involving peculiar risk and indemnity issues relative to construction contracts. He has also defended numerous product liability lawsuits involving catastrophic injuries including claims of brain damage and neurologic deficits, and loss of limbs. In addition to construction site personal injury claims and product liability litigation, Andrew has experience in construction defect litigation specifically related to toxic molds and claims of bodily injury and brain damage due to environmental exposure by adults and infants. He has also defended many catastrophic fire loss claims and property damage lawsuits arising out of allegations of flooding and related water damage. Throughout his career, Andrew has participated in numerous binding and non-binding arbitrations and many mediations. He has been a guest lecturer for California Evidence and the use of evidence in trials. He serves on the panel of Early Neutral Evaluators for Los Angeles County Superior Courts for civil litigation. |
