Matthew N. MalerichAssociateBakersfield Office Matthew N. Malerich is an Associate in the Bakersfield office of Borton Petrini, LLP. Matthew received his undergraduate degree from UCLA in 2000, graduating with honors. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law in the fall of 2006. Matthew specializes in healthcare law, commercial law, land use, construction law, business litigation and transactions. Before joining the Firm, Matthew was a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California. As a result of his performance, he was awarded a clerkship at the United States Department of Justice, Office of The United States Attorney General in Washington, D.C., and there he was honored as a member of a trial team which was successful in the prosecution of a high profile corruption case. Matthew also brings to the Firm experience in investment banking, insurance and real estate transactions. Prior to attending law school, he was employed with Deutsche Banc in San Francisco, California in the investment banking division as a research analyst. Further, he was employed with Fidelity National Financial in San Francisco, California as a manager in both the insurance and real estate transaction divisions. As of 2008, Matthew has become a member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Texas. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, and the United States District Court, Western District of Texas. He is a proud supporter of the Bakersfield Symphony. |
