Tamie L. Cummins is a partner in the Modesto Office of Borton Petrini, LLP. Tamie received her undergraduate degree from University of the Pacific in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a minor in Pre-Law. She received her Juris Doctorate from Laurence Drivon School of Law, Humphrey’s College in 2007 where she served as the President of the Student Bar Association.
Tamie practices family law in the Stanislaus County and San Joaquin County emphasizing in child custody disputes, support matters, property division and dissolution proceedings and represents in cases involving adoptions, guardianships and premarital agreements. Tamie also practices bankruptcy law and was admitted to practice before all the courts of the United States District Court of the Eastern District of California.
Tamie began her legal career with her own private practice prior to joining the Borton Petrini, LLP firm. She is a Director on the Women’s Haven Board, Bench Bar Liaison for Family Law Sections, a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, a member of the Executive Women’s Golf Association and has served as an Administrative Hearing Officer for the City of Modesto.
Tamie is married to her husband, Mike. She has five children, James, Dana, Chris, Emily and Michael and seven grandchildren.
